#3 - Orientation of the Opening

It is vital that you make sure that you pay attention to which direction the wind blows towards where you are intending to construct your shed. Then, using your hay barn plans, make sure that the doorway to it is located on the side opposite to where the wind will be hardest. Not only will this ensure that the items within the shed are protected, it is going to scale down the amount of wind loads placed upon it.
